Samuel ALI in Slovakia

20.8.2019

Samuel Ali was born in 1990 in Gravesend, Kent (UK). Currently, he is a second-year master’s student at the Royal College of Music in London where he studies the organ with David Graham, Sophie-Véronique Cauchefer-Choplin and Andrew Dewar and continuo with Robert Woolley. Samuel is the organist at Christ Church in Chelsea, London. Recently he has given recitals at St. George’s, Hannover Square (London), Leicester Cathedral, St. Sulpice Paris; and was the soloist in Poulenc’s organ concerto in a performance at the RCM.

In August 2019 he was welcomed to Spiska Nova Ves. His recital was as a result of Radio Tatras International’s programme of Anglo Slovak cultural exchanges.

Dr Telensky, CEO RTI Slovakia, added: “RTI was proud to support this event and add further cultural relations between the UK and Slovakia.”

RTI is well known for linking Slovakia, the UK and the rest of the world – as our slogan says: Sharing the beauty of Slovakia to the world in English.
